  • Ensures compliance with land use regulations  
  • Ensures building, fence and sign permits meet County land use requirements

  • Processes agricultural exemption applications (to exempt a structure from building permitting) 
  • Processes temporary use permits and bus bench/shelter signage

Requests, Applications, and Reporting Concerns

Customer Access

Use Customer Access to:
  • Apply for: 
    • An Agriculture Exemption and Affidavit for a waiver of the building permit process for a three-sided agricultural building in the Agricultural-Estate (A-E), Agricultural-1 (A-1), or Rural Residential-A (RR-A) zone districts. The building must meet all the criteria outlined in the exemption document. Please complete the document and then proceed to upload through the Customer Access Portal (link above). If you have any questions about a building qualifying for this process, please contact Zoning prior to submittal. 
    • A Fence permit
    • A Board of Adjustment Hearing (Variance, Special Exception Use, Appeal)
    • A Temporary Use Permit
  • File a complaint for:
    • A Land Use Violation
    • A Weed Violation
  • Request A Letter for: 
    • A Home Daycare - or - Local Authority Sign Off (required by the State of Colorado for certain licenses)
    • Zoning Verification
    • Use Determination
